As some fans took fawning over their favorite star too far police had to get involved. The people in question are Hania Aamir fans that were camped outside her house.
To the point that the police had to get involved when matters escalated to stalking. However, the Janaan actor’s mother intervened to side with the fans, as they were just ‘kids’.
In her appearance on the Eid special for the chat show Hansna Mana Hai, Hania Aamir shared the story of her fans showing up at her house. She ended up sharing an interesting story when the host asked if the Ishqiya actress has faced a ‘weird‘ fan moment where they’d send any ‘strange messages or violated her privacy‘.
“Some fans showed up outside my house but I wasn’t home. They didn’t believe it and waited for three to four hours. The police arrived and asked my family to tell them they knew them [and threatened to] take them away [if they didn’t]. My mother talked to them and told the police ‘No, let them go, they’re only kids‘.”
However, when the police intervened her mother didn’t want the ‘kids to suffer’ so she asked the police to let them go.
The Sang-e-Mah actress appeared on the show to promote her film, Parde Mein Rehne Do. The Eid release is still showing theaters for those interested in checking out her latest flick.
Meanwhile, singer Uzair Jaswal shared an even more extreme fan stalker story where fans showed up at his house while he was away. He ended up lying to his parents saying that they were his friends. The fans only left after having tea with his family.
