Sehar Shinwari Claims A PTV Producer Fired Her After She Rejected His Advances

The actress made the scandalous allegations on Twitter.

Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) has been enjoying great viewership numbers ever since they started airing the Turkish epic drama Ertuğrul Ghazi. The show is getting immense views and subscribers from Pakistan on its official YouTube account.

While the show celebrated its success with a tweet to their fans and followers, a Pakistani actress came forward with scandalous allegations against a PTV producer.

The world of showbiz is not all glitz and glamour. Oftentimes, it has a shady underbelly. Actress Sehar Shinwari recently tweeted that a producer working in PTV named Rumi offered her to sleep with him to “improve her career”.

According to the actress, the producer sacked her because she refused to sleep with him. The lady further stated that she had signed a contract of a soap opera with PTV. She tweeted:

“2 years back I signed a contract of soap opera with PTV producer named Rumi in PTV and the next day he removed me just because I refused his offer to sleep with him. I know how they promoted local talent during PP and PML-N tenure. Now at least they’re earning through halal means.”

  1. It’s a good thing ptv is showing historical drama with success, but don’t know why some people’s don’t like it, they don’t want to se national chanel doing some thing good,

  2. What took her so long leveling these alligations. we never heard her in ‘Me too” campaign in the meantime? Why she didn’t report this harassment at that time? We know this is common in showbiz but there are many actresses in the past who never were part of such things. This must be investigated.
