Our very own pacer, Shaheen Afridi finally tied the knot with a beautiful daughter, Ansha of a former ace cricketer, Shahid Afridi. Wedding festivities started from the dreamy Nikkah ceremony earlier this year and now this month followed by colorful mehndi, last night the lovely duo stole hearts with glamorous barat event.
The proud father, Shahid Afridi shared an adorable picture with his new son-in-law and daughter on his social media account and penned down a heart warming poem in Urdu.
Although we can’t see the bride’s beautiful face, we’re certain she looks stunning in her exquisite deep red bridal attire. Meanwhile, Shaheen appears charming in his beige and gold sherwani, wearing a warm smile as he embraces their father, who is dressed in an off-white shalwar kameez with a maroon waistcoat.
The reception was held for the couple at the DHA Golf and Country Club after their nikkah and attended by Shaheen’s teammates from the national cricket team and a few of the celebrities from the media fraternity. Here are a few more pictures from the event below,
