Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza Have Fun On Live Video Chat

The popular couple is still very much in love.

Sania Mirza - Shoaib Malik

It has been ten years since Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik tied the knot.

One of the most popular non-Bollywood couples in the sub-continent, the two recently had a fun video chat that melted fans’ hearts everywhere.

Due to the global pandemic, both Shoaib and Saina have been away from each other. Since the two were missing each other, they decided to do a live video chat much to the fans and followers’ delight.

What followed was an adorable conversation between the two athletes. The best part of the conversation was when Shoaib Malik asked his wife to say the three magic words – “I love you”.

However, there is a catch! Sania has to say it in Punjabi.

The couple kept smiling throughout the conversation. But we can see why Shoaib wanted fans to hear Sania’s Punjabi because the doubles/singles player struggled to say those magic words.

Sania Mirza kept trying and failing miserably. Her best efforts in trying to speak Punjabi was “assi twaday naal pyaar kerde.” Shoaib kept laughing and said:

“We’ve been married for 10 years, you should know how to say that in Punjabi by now.”

Sania kept trying until Shoaib sarcastically said:

“I think I should stop this video right here, otherwise I don’t think people will let you enter Punjab.”

Despite being from two countries that never get along, Shoaib and Sania continue to prove that they can make it work as the couple is still very much in love. Watch the full chat here.
