Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik finally opened up on the rumors surrounding his alleged divorce from Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza. Surprisingly, he has neither accepted nor denied the speculation but requested people to “leave it alone” and not dig into their “personal matters”.
Speaking to a local news outlet, Shoaib Malik shared his displeasure with the media circus surrounding and online gossip about his marriage, and said,
It is our personal matter. Neither I, nor my wife is answering this question. Leave it alone.
Speculations about a divorce between Pakistani all-rounder and Sania Mirza after 12 years of marriage have been viral for quite some time. While neither of them nor their representatives have addressed the matter, some of their close friends confirmed the news.
Regardless of all the speculations, Urduflix announced the launching of their talk show, The Mirza-Malik Show, last month, which made fans think the rumors were just a publicity stunt.
Another source close to Shoaib Malik claimed that the rumors of their divorce are false. The differences are part and parcel of every relationship which has made fans a bit hopeful that their marriage is intact.
Fans are still sad and confused and are trying to find clues to make sure that the couple is doing okay.
Sania Mirza and one-time divorcee, Shoaib Malik, tied the knot in April 2010 and became one of the most popular sports couples in Asia. They welcomed their son Izhaan Mirza-Malik in 2018.
