Both tourists and a maritime official watched as a high-class yacht, owned by Pakistani financier and investor Alshair Fiyaz rolled into the harbor. The yacht smashed into a harbor bridge, instantly demolishing one of its control booths, and the maritime official made a run for it.
Luckily there was no one in the booth. The video has gone viral on social media.

A Tragic Boat Story
The Pakistani billionaire’s boat made a smashing entry in Simpson Bay Lagoon on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin (and not in a good way). Alshair Fiyaz’s ‘Ecstasea’ is a 282-feet super-yacht, which is said to be worth somewhere between $75-120 million dollars!
People were astonished by the size of this ship. Some even asked whether it was a nuke.

One netizen thought the boat belonged to ex-British premier Tony Blair.

While the boat came out of the collision with minor scrapes and scratches. Meanwhile, the maritime traffic control booth was completely torn down by the ship’s hull.
There is no news on how the damages will be compensated, as the incident has been blamed on the Captain of the ‘Ecstasea.’
Netizens continued to make fun of the situation.

Especially one Twitter user asking if taxpayers’ money will pay for the damages.

Someone else even pointed out how paying the damages would be pocket change for the Pakistani billionaire.
