Hollywood and Lollywood celebrities Kumail Nanjiani, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Mehwish Hayat are set to attend Superfandom, “an end-to-end concierge service for the Metaverse” fundraiser for Pakistan’s flood victims this month.
Superfandom is a Web 3.0 platform for content creators and celebrities that allows them to establish their presence in the Metaverse with virtual characters, goods, NFTs, and SBTs.
About Superfandom’s Initiative
With the recent flood devastation across Pakistan, Superfandom is set to raise funds for the affectees. The Web 3.0 platform will feature auction items, including an exclusive Zoom call with Hollywood actor Kumail Nanjiani as well as signed merchandise by Ms. Marvel producer, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
Other notable names who will attend this charity event are renowned actors Mehwish Hayat, Faran Tahir, Ahsan Khan, cricket star Mohammad Aamir, and Grammy-winning artist Arooj Aftab.

We want to bring more attention to the flood victims. Unfortunately, the situation is only getting worse, with damages exceeding $30bn. We’re grateful to all these amazing stars for joining us in this cause. Hopefully, this auction can help ease some of the victims’ suffering.
Mehwish Hayat
One of the biggest names in the showbiz industry, Mehwish Hayat is an actress and model with millions of fans worldwide. Fans love her brilliant performances onscreen. She starred in blockbuster films like Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, Load Wedding, Actor In Law, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, and London Nahi Jaunga. Earlier this year, she made headlines in the recently concluded Hollywood show Ms. Marvel.
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy
A Pakistani-Canadian journalist, filmmaker, and activist. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is best known for her Oscar-winning documentaries Saving Face, and A Girl in the River:Â The Price of Forgiveness. As per recent news, she will soon be directing a new Star Wars film as well.
Kumail Nanjiani
Kumail Nanjiani has worked in several hit projects such as The Big Sick in 2017, Stuber in 2019, and the Marvel Studios superhero film The Eternals. He catapulted to fame after his role as Dinesh Chugtai in the hit HBO comedy Silicon Valley.
