Last week the former cricketer tweeted that India needs global support to battle the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. Shoaib Akhtar called on people on both sides of the border to support each other. The country’s healthcare has crashed with the sudden burden of the second wave.
“It’s a pandemic and we’re all in it together,” he said.
