This is not OK.

PUBG

The PUBG craze strikes yet again. Lately, we have seen teens and youngsters doing crazy things just so they can feed their addiction. Sometimes, they clearly seem to lose all common sense.

A 15-year-old boy in New Delhi spent Rs. 20,0000 of his grandfather’s pension fund on the game, leaving him with only Rs 275. The notification of depreciating funds alerted the man who immediately lodged a complaint with Timarpur police station.

A few months later, the complaint got transferred to the Cyber Cell Hub. The specialist department managed to trace the user of the funds back to the man’s grandson.

The amount had been transferred from the account to a Paytm wallet through OTP, which belongs to a 23-year-old man Pankaj Kumar.

Kumar confessed that his friend had been using the wallet. The friend turned out to the complainant’s grandson. The teen had been using the funds without his grandfather’s knowledge and had also deleted the OTP texts from his phone.

The grandfather did not press charges and decided to let go of the incident.
