After much anticipation, Lollywood fans can finally rejoice as the release date of The Legend of Maula Jatt has been announced!
The film was first embroiled in a legal battle and once that issue was resolved, the pandemic happened. The movie was expected to release last year, however, due to the spread of COVID-19, no new films were released in cinemas.
But it seems that we will soon be able to see our favorite actors on the big screen as The Legend of Maula Jatt is all set to release this coming Eid-ul-Fitr which is likely to commence in Pakistan on May 12 or May 13, 2021.
Written and directed by Bilal Lashari, the film is a remake of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt. It is a Punjabi language action drama film which boasts a stellar cast of Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, and Humaima Malik.
According to the reports, it will be released in China on the same day as in Pakistan and will be the most expensive Pakistani film to date.
