While we’re all relaxed about the COVID-19 outbreak since the lockdown has been lifted, it is easy to forget that the virus is still here. In a very unfortunate development, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar ‘The Rock‘ and his family have tested positive for the coronavirus.

DwayneThe Rock‘ Johnson, his wife, and two daughters have also tested COVID-19 positive.

In a video message on Instagram, Dwayne Johnson shared how these past two to three weeks have been ‘one of the most challenging and difficult things’ they’ve gone through as a family.

The Rock is worried about his family

The Hobbs and Shaw star opened up about how protecting his family had been his number one priority throughout this. How scary it had been when his family was infected with the dangerous virus.

He shared his relief and good news that after quarantine, both he and his family are now no longer contagious and healthy.

The Rock shared how we all need to be more mindful of precautionary measures. Especially with all the people who have lost their loved ones to the disease.

“I have two takeaways to share with you guys. Number one fight COVID-19, I don’t want you guys to get COVID-19 but God forbid if you do, …. make sure you stay disciplined when it comes to health, safety practices for family, loved ones and friends.”

The Fast & Furious actor also stressed the need to ‘control the controllable‘,  not just with precautionary safety measures but by also eating healthy, and boosting immunity with vitamins.

The Rock recommends that you:

  • Stay disciplined.
  • Boost your immune system.
  • Commit to wellness.
  • Wear your mask.
  • Protect your family.
  • Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings.
  • Stay positive.
  • And care for your fellow human beings.

If the Coronavirus has someone as ‘invincible’ as The Rock scared, then we better not let our guard down.
