The Simpson’s did it again! They predicted the future right down to the United States Vice President’s outfit. Netizens noticed how eerily similar Lisa Simpson and Kamala Harris’ inauguration day outfits were.

An old episode of the animated series caught everyone’s eye when fans pointed out how US Vice President Kamala Harris’ inauguration outfit is the same as Lisa Simpson’s outfit when she becomes the first female US president.
In the episode titled ‘Bart To The Future‘, Lisa can be seen wearing a monochrome head to toe purple ensemble with a pearl necklace.

The first African-American US VP outfit was curated from pieces from a Black designer Christopher John Rogers from Lousiana. The VP wore a knee-length, A-line, deep violet coat with a tailored collar and a matching dress underneath.

Kamala Harris chose to wear purple as on the significant occasion as a tribute to Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman to be elected to the United States Congress. Besides the US VP, First Lady Jill Biden also wore purple to commemorate the first Black woman in Congress.
Meanwhile, the Asian-American VP often dons pearls to honor her Howard University sorority Alpha Cappa Alpha.
