A Pakistani man just celebrated his 100th birthday. Here’s to hoping for a longer and healthier life for Ibadat Shah, the 100-year-old man.
The Pamir Times reported that the resident of Shishkat celebrated his 100th birthday, surrounded by loved ones. Who wouldn’t show up to a 100th birthday even if it was a distant relative?

Although he is a resident of the Shishkat village, sub-division Gojal, district Hunza his birthday was organized elsewhere.
Turns out his family and friends gathered in Aliabad to celebrate the centennial.

Maybe in 16 years, Ibadat Shah might set the new record for the oldest man alive. Currently, Japan’s JAPAN’S Chitetsu Watanabe holds the Guinness World Record at age 112. The oldest man ever recorded is also from Japan, Jiroemon Kimura who lived to be 117 years old.
