Ever since the hit drama Mere Pass Tum Ho aired nationwide, people have been glued to their TV screens. From its memorable characters, to plot twists, and what not, the show has been one of the most-watched dramas in recent history.
One of the other things that the show got right was its OST. The catchy soundtrack has been covered by musicians, fans and even Umar Akmal! But that’s not what we are going to talk about today.

No wonder Danish had a heart attack (spoiler alert). Anyways, we are talking about singing prodigy Hadia Hashmi.
The young singer is the latest artist to cover the catchy soundtrack. The talented Hadia shared her version of the blockbuster drama Mere Pass Tum Ho’s OST on social media and fans are loving it. It’s not just the fans who love Hadia’s take on the soundtrack, it managed to caught the attention of veteran actor and one of the stars of the show, Adnan Siddiqui (aka Shehwaar or the guy who got slapped and then pushed around by his first wife).

Adnan was all praises for the young singer as he took to his Instagram to promote her video.
“Remember the cute and melodious kid, Hadia Hashmi from Nescafé Basement season 5? As a lot of you shared the OST of Mere Paas Tum Ho, she did too and how beautifully she’s sung it! Well done Hadia, more power to you and your voice.”

The then eight-year-old debuted with the band Soch for the Nescafe Basement’s track “Bol Hu” in 2019. The young singer stole the show with her powerful vocals and fans have been in awe of her voice and talent.
As for the show Mere Pass Tum Ho, the epic drama serial concluded last week to packed cinema houses nationwide. Although the finale received mixed reviews, fans still enjoyed the series in its entirety. There is currently rumors of potential sequel in the works. Who knows, maybe Hadia might get a chance to work on the soundtrack for the sequel. Who wants to see that happen?
