This Pakistani Painter Went Viral for His Singing and Here’s His First Song! [Video]

Remember that video of a painter Muhammad Arif with an amazing voice that went viral last year? Good news, he just put out his first single.

Arif’s debut track is a tribute to the Indian Culture Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu. While a lot of people find his choice of lyrics humorous, his singing skills have also gotten better.

Besides a little polishing to his vocals, Arif’s makeover for the music video is also remarkable. The video is simple, clean and basic.

There’s not too much going on in the video that it takes away from the audio.  We must acknowledge how refreshing it is to really see someone not give up his dream no matter where they come from.

Arif’s Rise to Fame

Last year Muhammad Arif had Pakistan swooning when someone shared a video of the painter singing while he was doing a wall.

The video was making rounds and had achieved viral status in just 11 minutes of his video being posted first.

After his video went vira,l Arif was given the opportunity to perform as an opener for Aima Baig’s Independence Day show.

Unfortunately, Arif’s excitement got the better of him. This was his first time performing for a live crowd and he lost his nerve. Nonethless, Arif still managed to make quite a few people happy with his performance.

These were people that recognized the hurdles of a singer without professional training, who was performing a live act for the first time.

Arif then remained away from the spotlight for a while but has now emerged with a catchy melody.

His debut single has garnered over 22K views in one day and counting.

Another Singing Painter

Another painter turned singer is Shahid Naseeb Doltana. The singer went from a painter to a competitor in the talent hunt show Kon Banega Superstar. The show is judged by stars like Rabi Pirzada.

This man then moved on to performing small singing gigs after gaining fame on television. He then switched to acting and his singing career got sidelined once again.

He now takes up jobs as an extra in drama serials.
