Madam Noor Jehan’s is a reminder of why classic Lollywood still upstages most contemporary films today. They weren’t afraid to touch base on taboo subjects in their storytelling.

Based on what Twitter had to say, the scene is from the movie Neend. That would make the other actress in the shot Neelo. Released in 1959, the movie marks filmmaker Hassan Tariq’s directorial debut. The film had no hero and featured an anti-hero instead.
The Neend cast includes Diljit, Asad Jaafri, Nur Jehan, Neelo and Aslam Pervaiz. The famous song ‘Akeli Kahin Mat Jana Zamana Nazuk Hai‘ is from this movie’s soundtrack.
