Zahid Ahmed is careful about the projects he chooses to sign and has quite a diverse portfolio to his name. The actor’s next venture is the drama serial Faryaad and the trailers look complex.
Penned by Rehana Aftab, the drama follows Murad, played by Zahid Ahmed as he stepped on hearts to get what he wants. Murad has no regard for other people to say the least. For him the end justifies the means. How does a character like that end up at the center in a story? We will have to watch the drama serial to find out.
Meanwhile, we see plenty of love triangles in the mix. How did it come to this? At this point, we’re guessing Murad is our antagonist. If not, an anti-villain will make for interesting story development, given we rarely ever see our male characters grow as people on-screen. They’re usually ‘the savior’ to begin with.
Shahid Shafaat and Syed Ali Raza Osama directed the ARY drama. The Faryaad cast has many notable faces such as Nawal Saeed, Aiza Awan, Maryam Ansari, Adeel Chaudhary, Naveed Raza, Sana Askari, and Aamna Malick.
Fans already expect much from the drama serial. Let’s just hope it’s not a disappointment like ‘Main Na Janoo‘ where the story development took a regressive turn.
