Trending: ISI Punjab Head Sues YouTuber Adil Raja for Defamation in London High Court

Adil Raja has brewed a major controversy in Pakistan with claims that implicate army officials and allegedly target models and actresses.

An Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Punjab head has sued the controversial YouTuber, Adil Raja, for running a defamatory campaign against him on social media.

The serving military officer’s lawsuit against the UK-based vlogger came shortly after he made some statements that were taken as scandalous allegations against certain Pakistani ‘actresses and models’. However, the serving head of ISI Punjab is suing the ex-army officer for a different set of accusations.

The suit against Adil Raja was reportedly filed in the UK High Court in August 2022. However, it was made public on Tuesday after he ruffled feathers in Pakistan with his claims that were believed to target leading TV and film actresses and certain models.

According to Geo News, the head of the ISI Punjab has demanded an apology from Adil Raja and for him to retract his defamatory statements. He also wants the former major to pay damages for his social media defamation campaign.

For the unversed, Major (retd.) Adil Raja recently made false allegations against Pakistani celebrities in a vlog for being used by intelligence agencies to record questionable videos and audios. These allegations, which are supposedly misunderstood by Pakistani actresses and the showbiz fraternity, created quite a stir on the internet.

According to Geo News, Adil Raja claimed that his scandalous information was “provided by highly placed sources within the Pakistani establishment.” Regardless, he has been receiving a lot of backlash online for his controversial statements, and his official Twitter handle, Solider Speaks, lost its blue tick verification shortly after the scandal.
