The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (better known as TRT) is the national public broadcaster of Turkey. Shows like Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Payitaht: Abdülhamid, and Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı: Kıyam (Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı) are all broadcast by TRT.
They have had a YouTube channel where they post Turkish series with English subtitles. But now, after the success of Ertugrul in Pakistan, they have started a YouTube channel dedicated to their Pakistani audience.
The channel was launched almost a week before and it already has episodes from two of its shows. The episodes are not dubbed in Urdu, however, they do have Urdu subtitles.
Hitting 20,900 subscribers in a week, the channel has episodes from Elimi Bırakma and Payitaht: Abdülhamid. The first episode of the latter hit 150,000+ views in less than a week. The show is based on the third last or 34th Ottoman Emperor, Abdul Hamid II.
Payitaht: Abdülhamid (The Last Emperor) has 5 episodes with Urdu subtitles while Elimi Bırakma has two. More shows are expected to air through this channel that Turkish drama fans can now enjoy in Pakistan.
