Turkish Serial Yunus Emre is All Set to Broadcast on PTV

The wait is finally over.

After the huge success of Dirilis Ertugrul, PTV is bringing another hit Turkish serial for its viewers. The state-run channel is all set to broadcast Yunus Emre, a biographical drama about the 14th century Islamic poet and mystic.

Senator Faisal Javed Khan announced the news on his Twitter yesterday. He wrote,

“On the directions of PM ImranKhan, yet another hit by @mmehmetbozdag Yunus Emre (AÅŸkinYolculuÄŸu) to be telecast on PTV. Yunus Emre (the Dervish) was an Islamic poet, a mystic & a poor villager.Story of a great Sufi wholly dedicated to ALLAH & searching for unity.”

Earlier in May, PM Imran Khan asked PTV to telecast Yunus Emre in Pakistan. The dubbing process began shortly after, and it seems that the serial is about to hit the screens soon.

In another tweet, he pointed out that the serial is a piece of art in its own right.

“It is a Journey of Transformation. Yunus Emre was well versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th-century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi. Serial is a great example of a meticulous attention to detail work.”

 

Pakistani audience is highly anticipating for the serial and to keep them on the edge of their seats, the senator also shared the dubbed trailer and captioned it ‘Coming soon’.
