Turkish Star Hande Subaşı Tells Off Pakistani Trolls in a Classy Way

Do you agree with her?

In early October this year, Hande Subaşı received a lot of heat from her Pakistani fans. Desi trolls were after her for wearing ‘inappropriate’ clothes and posing with her beau Alican Ulusoy.

While this type of trolling isn’t new to Pakistanis, in a recent interview she cleared the air and presented her side of things.

The 36-year-old played the role of Aykiz Hatun in the hit Turkish historical series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. And since the show became massively popular in Pakistan after the release of its Urdu-dubbed version, Hande garnered a huge number of Pakistani fans.

Hers was not the first case of online bullying and trolling over an attire. Fellow Turkish starlet Esra Bilgiç has also received backlash for her choice in clothing. But Hande is not one to stay silent. In a recent interview, she gave these trolls a piece of her mind.

My job, though, was only to do my professional best, and to give life to Aykiz. This does not make me Aykiz.

She further added that although she appreciates her fans’ love and support, they need to stay out of her private life.

I’m Hande. I really appreciate the admiration of my fans but I’m not happy about being criticized and getting negative comments about things that I do in my personal life.

  1. Most of the Pakistani are very good at criticizing the things which they enjoy and watch in solitude.
Such a mean ppl are they.
First they watch with wide open eyes without letting know anybody and then wide open their mouth to criticize over what they had enjoyed.🐵🐵🐵😀

  2. Yeah actually she is right. Because she played her role as Aykiz so naturally and beautifully that every one specially the Pakistani awam still taking her as Aykiz. Every person has it’s right to live independently and of it’s own so we should stay from ones personal life and keep distance like in case of Corona 😅😅

  3. Just playing portraying as Aykiz really does not make her Aikiz at all on screen aikiz and real life off screen Hande are entirely two very different personalities.
Time to stop this nonsense moral policing regarding turkish actors personal life
Come on ppl grow up now leave her alone

  4. Well well well..isn’t it good when people see u as a Pious Muslim even if u were professionally pretending (acting) as the One. Remember people don’t love Ertugrul series cause their acting skills but in reality people of Pakistan are interested in the history of Islamic Muslim Era shown in the Drama. Doesn’t matter what kind of Muslim we the Pakistani are but the only Fact is we have lot of emotions towards Islam which brought us closer.. And in emotions we forgot that you are no way near the reality of Akiz… And if people are criticising you close of the clothing in your real life is… That is only Muslims emotion
