A lot of people appreciated Nimra’s originality and enjoyed her lighthearted conversations. Some people call her a ‘pure soul’ but there are also those who think she is ‘fake’ and ‘shameless’.
And now people are taking advantage of her
Just a while ago, Nimra appeared in an interview with Suraj TV. When asked, if she pays attention to the comments under her videos, she said she doesn’t read them in order to stay away from negativity.
According to Nimra, if she will come across negative comments, she will feel disheartened and depressed, which is why she ignores them.
But here’s when the interview starts getting problematic. Even though Nimra said she likes to stay away from negative comments, the host went ahead and started talking about them.
This is extremely disrespectful and ignorant on the anchorperson’s part because despite being politely told she hates them, the host still went ahead.
Nimra literally started crying after hearing what people think about her.

Who is Guilty?
Ironically, the host actually took this opportunity to take media channels to task. She begins her interview by saying that media channels and trolls should not get too shallow for the sake of some ratings and TRPs.
But alas, a seventeen-year-old girl was brought on the show and she cried because the host was not respectful enough of her priorities. She made it clear that she doesn’t read comments like these because it affects her mental health, but the host had to push her to get something ‘sensational’ out of it.
And they were successful. Just the title of the video says it all. The irony is that this is exactly what the host was preaching about.
One needs to ask what the electronic media watchdog PEMRA is going to do regarding these kinds of interviews.
