Over the years, people have made an effort to replicate his success with various covers to pay tribute to the legend. However, the most notorious music label dead-set on ripping off every NFAK classic is T-Series.
Recently, the latest music artists to cover Nusrat’s song are Meet Bros. The duo, alongside Mouni Roy and Jubin Nautiyal, released a four-minute music video that takes place at a party.
With more than 28 million views on YouTube, the song certainly is making headlines across social media. However, music purists are unhappy with the new version, taking to Twitter to express their disapproval.

Just cleansing out my ears after listening to the #JubinNautiyal and #TSeries travesty #DilGaltiKarBaithaHai . Stop copying songs that do not need to be remade. 😡😒🤦🏽♀️ #PakistaniMusic https://t.co/UQhvUW8RSG

India has not been shy in expressing their dislike for Pakistani artist working within Bollywood but in the same breath will shamelessly steal Pakistani music, movie & talent without due the respect and credit. #BolKaffara #DilGaltiKarBaithaHai
