Two Men Accused of Raping a Matric Student Released On Bail

The victim’s father has requested Punjab chief minister to take action.

Law authorities in the Jhang area have launched an investigation against two men for allegedly raping a 10th grader.

The victim’s father took action by lodging an FIR against the culprits and has also requested the Punjab Chief Minister to ensure justice for his daughter.

Recently, the police in Jhang has lodged an FIR against two assailants for raping a young female student of grade 10.

Sarfaraz Khan Virk, the district police officer, told reporters that an FIR against the men was lodged on October 6, however, the accused were granted bail. He added that the police are investigating the case and will interrogate the two rapists.

The FIR against the two culprits was registered by the girl’s father. The girl, a student of grade-10, told reporters that one of her neighbors is also involved as he raped her along with his friend.

“They entered our home and they raped me,” said the rape survivor. “They also made the video.”

The girl said that her attackers kept threatening her for eight months and said they will make a video of her, which will go viral on the internet, and then kill her. The girl’s father has appealed to the Punjab chief minister to take notice and ensure that justice is delivered.
