Whether you support The Royal Family or not, a 95 year old woman has lost her husband of 73 years, children have lost their father, and grandchildren their grandfather. There’s no doubt that as a family in the true sense, this is heart-breaking for them. Be nice. #PrincePhilip

Born June 10, 1921, on the dining room table at his parents’ home on the Greek island of Corfu, Philip was the fifth child and only son of Prince Andrew, younger brother of the King of Greece. His grandfather had come from Denmark during the 1860s to be adopted by Greece as the country’s monarch.
The Queen and Prince shared 73 years of the marital bond and his demise has left every member of the royal family deeply saddened.
