Fans of DC’s Extended Universe can rejoice as they will be finally getting the much-talked-about Snyder cut of the Justice League. The special edition of the film will debut on streaming service HBO Max next year.

The streaming giant broke the news on social media and everyone is going crazy over it.

Justice League: Snyder Cut

For those who are not sure what this is, the Snyder cut was supposed to be the original Justice League film that fans wanted to see back in 2017. However, due to a family tragedy, Zack Snyder, the original director, had to leave the project during production.

To finish the movie, Warner Bros. decided to bring Joss Whedon in his place for reshoots. Whedon drastically changed the entire tone of the film and as a result, the film was deemed a critical failure by fans.

Depending on who you ask, 2017’s Justice League was supposed to challenge Marvel’s Avengers franchise but fell woefully short. Due to the immense failure to deliver a decent Justice League film, fans started petitioning and request Warner Bros. to release the original (Zack Snyder’s cut) of the film.
