Screenwriter Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar shares his thoughts about the untimely passing of Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

It has been almost a month since the untimely passing of Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain. The public feels guilty of mocking the TV presenter, while celebrities come forward to their two-cents on the matter.

Recently, screenwriter Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar broke his silence on Aamir Liaquat’s death. Khalil and Aamir were not “friendly” with each other. In fact, the two would always go into a war of words with each other on TV.

In the interview, Khalil-Ur-Rehman prayed for Aamir Liaquat’s soul but also said that he should have married a religious woman.

“Dania was only on a mission, such girls aren’t family oriented and they just lead you towards destruction. She should be punished for her acts”, says Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar.

The Inaam Ghar host was always a controversial figure but in his final days he was pushed into depression and ultimately death. Public trolling aside, people blame Aamir Liaquat’s third wife, Dania Shah, as the catalyst after she leaked private videos of him to the internet.

 

Much like the late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, screenwriter Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar is also quite a polarizing figures of the Pakistani showbiz industry. The scriptwriter gained popularity for writing projects like Pyarey Afzaal, Sadqay Tumhare, and the blockbuster show Mere Pass Tum Ho. While people love his work, there are some who do not like Khalil’s views on certain sensitive issues. Khalil is one of the few people who isn’t afraid to speak his mind.
