Ushna Shah, the 30-year-old Pakistani film and drama star, has come under the radar yet again, for ALL the wrong reasons.
The Balaa actress has been a part of many controversies in the recent past; She first confessed that she used to stalk her ex, and even admitted to bullying an innocent pizza delivery guy.
But, no publicity is bad publicity, right? Wrong!
Doctors worldwide have been our only guardian angels throughout this whole COVID-19 pandemic. They’re fighting on the front lines so we could get a good night’s sleep. All the while, they’re doing their very best to save each and every one of the infected people.
Due to the lack of protective gear available for the doctors, they also have to keep themselves away from their own families. They manage sleeping only a couple of hours to start their war against the virus all over again.
So it would make sense for them to take a little breather every now and then. A heartwarming trend took over social media the past week when doctors shared their little dance videos during their 10-minutes-long breaks. They’ve been our heroes throughout this difficult period of time, of course, they deserve to shake the stress off however necessary.
I find this very cool. Doctors are human beings and dancing and singing is a great way to destress. More power to these heroes💓 pic.twitter.com/r9zQUVHiXV

While most of the people applauded and cheered them on for their attempt at bringing smiles on everyone’s faces, some of them were not happy. Ushna Shah was a part of the latter.
Another needless controversy
In a tweet that she deleted some time after posting it, Ushna questioned whether or not doctors should waste their ‘precious time’ in dancing. She said,
I’m curious to know people’s thoughts on doctors/nurses creating choreographed dances in hospitals. I’m conflicted: on one hand I understand they need uplifting breaks, but on the other, these dances seem quite time consuming, precious time consuming. Thoughts?
As you might have guessed, people were NOT happy with her judging the doctors. Let’s take a look at the people’s reactions.
They are only doing their job but might I ask, @ushnashah, how are you using your PRECIOUS time and privilege to contribute to pandemic? Instead of getting flustered over doctors taking limelight, please use your platform to garner funds and support, donate and volunteer.

It’s sad that elite celebrities like Ushna Shah would rather use their platforms to spill judgment over doctors in times of crisis rather than help. If you can’t arrange PPEs, ventilators, funds for those in the frontline, least you can do is not give them shit for simply living.

Why isn’t anyone talking about Ushna Shah objecting on doctors taking break while working for endless hours?

Or you can just say 'Ushna Shah' is disgusting.
Khair on a serious I have seen my sister working at Civil hospital during 2011-12, when MQM and Liyari Gang war was at peak. The hospital was under them and these Doctors still use to work there treating all patients alike.— Muhammad (@Mbin121) April 9, 2020
At this point, we don’t know if people should react to seemingly attention-seeking stunts.
War heroes have died on the battleground. At least 23 doctors passed away due to the coronavirus in Italy, 8 in the United Kingdom, and more recently, a doctor also passed away in Pakistan.
They’re making life or death decisions so people like us could stay safe. What is Ushna doing to combat the problems at hand (hint: deleting posts)?
