Actress Veena Malik has filed a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against a social media smear campaign that has been tarnishing her reputation.

This revelation came from the actress a few days following a viral audio clip that started making rounds on social media. In the audio, Veena Malik is allegedly threatening her former husband Asad Khattak. The clip allegedly shows her using a lot of uncouth language in the process.

Asad Khattak has also alleged that the audio clip is indeed from one of his conversations with the actress in which she had threatened and abused him. However, Veena Malik alleges that this is all part of a social media smear campaign to tarnish her image.

“DG FIA cybercrime has registered the case,” she said. “A campaign is being run against me on social media. I demand action be taken against blackmailing, slander and false allegations against me (doing the rounds on social media).”

Reacting to his ex-wife’s comments, Asad said that he too has written a letter to the FIA, concerning his children.

“I wrote to the FIA to inquire about my children’s Pakistani passports,” he said. “I told them in the letter that my children were kidnapped from Dubai. I haven’t received a response yet.”

Veena Malik and Asad Khattak have been going after each other for a while now ever since they got a divorce. Asad claims that Veena “kidnapped” their children from Dubai and took them to Pakistan where she is allegedly keeping them at an “undisclosed” location.

It remains to be seen how the FIA investigates this matter. Stay posted for more updates on this story.
