Certain moments restore your faith in the goodness of humanity. Recently protesters sang to a scared baby in a car blocked by protests in Baabda District, just south of Beirut, Lebanon. Now the protesters singing to the child to calm him down is making rounds on the Internet.
Here’s what happened
A Lebanese mother was driving through a crowd of protesters blocking the road. While they struggled to move the car, her 15-month-old child was frightened. When the mother told the protesters her baby was scared, they did something very unexpected. They started singing the famous lullaby ‘Baby Shark‘ to lull and soothe the child.
And of course, they made way for the child and mommy of the hour, letting them navigate through a chaotic situation. All the while keeping a calm head about the whole thing.
You can watch the unbelievably cute video here:
Protesters were blocking the road a mum told them she wanted to pass because her baby was afraid.
This is what they did 😂

It’s cute, n sweet, and a bunch of guys know baby shark. But that kids is like, y’all still strangers. And stranger danger is getting the best of my cute little emotions. That is still 100% a solid attempt to de-escalate a stressful situation!

I am crying right now. U know a protest is being done by good people, when they try to make a child feel better in the middle of their fight for a cause!

That’s when a debate sparked up about peaceful protests versus violent protests.

Plenty of people pointed out that most protesters are just using their right to gather and demand rights. A few pockets of violent outbursts are then used to exercise excessive force on protesters.
Same thing happening in HK. 95% of it is super peaceful. Just certain sections get violent. Stones get thrown, Tear gas gets fired and things heat up.

Despite this being a beautiful moment, it dawned on people that this is meme material.

We probably won’t see protesters singing any place other than Lebanon. A revelation came forth that even Lebanese protest with a DJ tuning the background.
Last time they had a DJ while protesting 😂😂 This is awesome.

Lebanon is protesting once again amid the country’s economic crisis, corruption and now ecological disasters like mass forest fires.
Each time the Lebanese came out to protest since the Cedar Revolution in March 2005, they saw minor changes. Meanwhile, as time passes their problems keep piling up. Despite all this their spirit of kindness has restored our faith in humanity.
Yeah. There may be good people every where but the Lebanese has won hearts around the globe with this one. . .
