Pakistani actor Sheheryar Munawar has been stealing our hearts for a long time now. The actor/producer started his journey in the entertainment industry in 2012. And within a year or so he was already outshining other big-name celebrities in the country. However, Yasir Hussain- being his usual self – found an opportunity to poke fun at the Ho Mann Jahaan actor at an awards show.
Shaheryar Munawar and Maya Ali appeared in the 2019 Lux Style Awards together. The two of them would soon appear in the then-upcoming film Parey Hut Love. Both of them looked lovely together. And seemed to be enjoying their evening, until something odd happened. As the host of the show, Yasir saw this as an opportunity to roast the stars.
The Video
A video of the Pakistani stars is making rounds on social media. The Lahore Se Aagey actor mentioned how Sheheryar Munawar brought other actors to their knees with his work. And he then proceeded to predict who his next prey will be. Here’s what he said:
Sheheryar Munawar became dangerous for other superstars. After making other celebrities fall flat- like Mahira Khan in ‘7 Din Mohabbat In‘ and Humayun Saeed in ‘Project Ghazi’, his next prey will be Maya Ali.

As it turns out, his prediction wasn’t off the mark back then. Sheheryar Munawar won the Best Actor award at the 1st Pakistan International Screen Awards. But Maya Ali was only nominated for the Best Actress award. So, could we call Yasir Hussain a fortune-teller?

This isn’t the first time the Jhooti actor has gotten away with something like this. Did you know he poked fun at a transgender around the same time? Well, if he can get away with a series of bad jokes like that one, he can get away with this slightly better joke. And of course, his grand marriage proposal from the award show still remains a fan-favorite!
