In a cute turn of events, a small cat interrupted an Imam as he was reciting the qiyam (Taraweeh) prayers.
An Algerian Imam made a cute little feline friend while leading a jamaat during during a live Taraweeh broadcast. A clip from the transmission has gone viral online after it was shared on Twitter, sparking cute reactions on social media.
Netizens adored the little feline and admired the Imam’s calm demeanor throughout the incident.
During the qiyam (Taraweeh) prayers, a stray cat suddenly jumped onto the Imam’s wrist. Despite the unexpected interruption, the Iman managed to maintain his composure and continued with the prayers. He even caressed the little kitty and held it in his arm.
The little kitty then perched on to his shoulder for a few moments, planted a few kisses on the Imam’s cheek before jumping off and wandering away. .
The video has since gone viral on social media, with many users sharing it and commenting on the hilarious incident. Some have praised the Iman’s quick thinking and calm demeanor, while others have joked about the cat’s timing and agility.
