Recently Nadia Khan revealed that she’s returning to PTV Home to host a morning show. The Quetta native made her debut with PTV and now she’s back. For those who regularly tune in to PTV’s morning shows, this begs the question – where is Juggun Kazim then?
Till now Juggun Kazim had been the morning show host on PTV. The actress-cum-host opened up about leaving PTV and the eight-year journey she had with the national broadcaster.
“I have spent more than 8 years at PTV and I have no complaints with PTV as it is still my home and a mother institution to me.”

The actress opened up about how monotony and the difference in expression compared to PTV was what caused her to step out of her comfort zone. She also wanted to take up social issues, which was reportedly too sensitive for PTV.
“I was actually having a problem being stuck in a rut and I was bored with monotony. I couldn’t express certain things as it was a state channel which has a decorum.”
She revealed her agreement was extended for two years and was given her salary in advance.

Meanwhile during Ramzan this year, Juggun Kazim also got a chance to work with 24 News HD which was actually a great learning experience as she found their team supportive. That’s what gave her the courage to leave PTV.

Its not all bad though. Juggun Kazim revealed that she still misses her team from PTV.
“PTV is and was my home they had been with me through thick and thin I love PTV and the producer of PTV who supported me in everything I have achieved.”
She encouraged people to watch ‘Juggun at 9‘ on 24 News HD. She asked for feedback on what the audience would like her to do now that she can have more open expression.
