Eid is a time for big movie releases, especially Pakistani ones. This Eid-ul-Azha we saw the simultaneous release of three massive big-budget films with Paray Hut Love, Superstar, and Heer Maan Ja.
Films usually do well on Eid. Even average movies did good business over the last Eid-ul-Fitr.
As for this Eid-ul-Azha, in just the opening days all Eid releases scored big at the box office. Both Paray Hut Love and Superstar managed to collect Rs 1 crore during the first two to three days in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Heer Maan Ja got a slow start but later picked up the pace.

The Numbers
Parey Hut Love is leading the chart, earning Rs 12.15 crores with a worldwide release. While the film along with Superstar was released on Eid in Pakistan; both saw a pre-Eid release in the rest of the world including Britain, the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Austria, and Scandinavia.

Parey Hut Love release date in the United Arab Emirates was August, 8th a day before Superstar release date in Australia.

Superstar followed behind with Rs 11.4 crore earnings from a worldwide release. The film was released in Bahrain, Britain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Canada, France, Ireland, Morocco, and the US.

Heer Maan Ja, on the other hand, grossed Rs 3.5 crores so far with just a Pakistan release. Its release in the United States is slated for August, 23rd. While all Pakistan’s Eid releases are faring well, Heer Maan Ja is expected to be better with a global release like the rest.
