Another day, another case of people rumor-mongering about a woman because they can. At this point, we must have all noticed ‘Bushra Bibi’ trending on social media.
What did the first lady do to catch everyone’s attention? Nothing. But apparently, she’s set to separate from her husband Imran Khan. Who is the bearer of this news. Not the actual people involved, but rather some Netizens.
Rumor has it that, Bushra Bibi left Bani Gala, the residence of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, after a fight and is now at a friend’s residence in Lahore.
On the other hand, the friend in question, Farah Khan, denied speculation of any rift between the two. She told Express Tribune that;
“Fake propaganda was being spread about the couple, … I am surprised how someone made this up because Bushra Bibi has not visited Lahore in a long time, …The First Lady is still in Bani Gala with her husband and they didn’t have any fights.”
Farah added that one should not stoop to such low levels in politics that they spread lies about other people’s personal lives.
Many fans of Imran Khan aren’t taking well to the rumors and Bushra Bibi trending on Twitter.

This wouldn’t be the first time the first lady was wrapped up in unwarranted rumors and snide jokes. Unfortunately, she is targeted due to political reasons given her husband’s political affiliation.
