Zara Noor Abbas Rejected A Role in “The Legend of Maula Jatt”

It could’ve been a very different movie with her.

Zara Noor Abbas has revealed that she rejected a role in Bilal Lashari’s upcoming movie The Legend of Maula Jatt. Zara Noor made this revelation in a conversation with Haroon Rashid of BBC Asian Network.

The Chhalawa actress revealed that she was offered a role in the upcoming remake of the Maula Jatt opposite Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi. But she rejected the role for being ‘very secondary to Humaima and Mahira’.

“It was a role which was very secondary to Humaima and Mahira, it was the third role and not at all the ones given to them and that is why I thought it was better to not do something in which I may not be even seen.”

Turns out Zara Noor Abbas didn’t just reject a role in The Legend of Maula Jatt but also opted out of Teefa In Trouble opposite Ali Zafar. Due to the family commitments she had at that time, the actress refused to be part of the film.

“I was offered the main role in Teefa in Trouble back in the day but I had some family commitments that I could not get out of so I never made it to the audition.”

Zara Noor Abbas is currently busy in the promotion of her upcoming film Parey Hut Love. The film will also see Sheharyar Munawar and Maya Ali in the lead cast. Parey Hut Love release date is set for Eid-ul-Azha next month.
