Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas opened up about her pregnancy after Ali Bhatt called out the patriarchy amid talks about her pregnancy, recently.
Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui had been expecting their first child together late last year. Initially, the celebrity couple was quite hushed about the matter until fans started noticing the Khamooshi actor’s baby bump.
This then led to questions about the due date. Unfortunately, the Zebaish actress could not carry to term. After she suffered a miscarriage, her husband Asad Siddiqui shared this news during an interview.
He asked people to be respectful and give the couple space.
Now when Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt called out how the media treats a pregnant actress, Zara Noor Abbas also shared her experience. The Ehd-e-Wafa actress shared how she was treated differently by brands when they found out that she was expecting. She was also shocked that this happens in India too and not only in Pakistan.
Regarding Ali Bhatt’s Instagram story, she narrated her experience too.
This marks the first time the starlet has talked about her pregnancy since the miscarriage. While she called out how she was treated during her pregnancy, she is yet to address the media’s behaviour amid her miscarriage.
Did the actress feel as though, the media was being respectful enough? Did they give her space to mourn?
