Zara Sheikh is making a comeback in films, with a cameo in Hareem Farooq’s Heer Maan Ja.
Heer Maan Ja cast one of our favorite pairings in Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan. An added treat is the fact that the stunning Zara Sheikh will be doing an item number for the movie.
From what we’ve seen in Tere Pyar Mein, Chalo Ishq Larain, etc we know she’ll tear up the dance floor with her moves.
Zara Sheikh Returns to Films After 5 Years
This will mark Zara Sheikh’s comeback after almost five years. She thanked Heer Maan Ja director Imran Raza Kazmi for this.
“It has been a wonderful experience working with everyone, I would like to especially thank Imran Ali Kamzi. He put us all in one platform which is a very good thing,”
Zara’s killer dance moves will be choreographed to Sahara UK’s dance song. This is the Punjabi duo that sang Parchi‘s ‘Billo Hai’. Osman Khalid Butt choreographed that wedding dance number (is there something he can’t do?).

Lollywood’s leading lady said that her performance would be a surprise. We’ll have to watch the film to find out how she fits into the story.
“You’ll have to see my cameo when you watch the film. My performance is a surprise.”
Zara acknowledged how the team of Heer Maan Ja is really putting their back into the film. She praised their efforts and wished them best of luck. She said that she was really glad to have been cast in the film.
“I’m really glad I’m a part of the film; it’s got a good story and good music. It has been a pleasant experience.”

Future Projects
On the subject of taking up more work, Zara said she’s thinking about it. The actress said that she is “considering more offers,” but hasn’t made up her mind. She attributed this to her old habit of doing selective projects.
“Everyone knows that I’m very picky and selective about projects. I’m all about quality, not quantity. My efforts are to do better work each time.”
Last time we saw Zara Sheikh onscreen was for the social drama Honor Killing in 2014. Heer Maan Ja is a rom-com about a runaway bride.
Heer Maan Ja release date is scheduled for an Eid-ul-Azha.
