Minister Housing Alleges Real Estate Frauds by Aleem Khan

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mian Aslam Iqbal, has alleged Property fraud of Former Minister Aleem Khan and said that strict action shall be taken against him.

The Minister alleged that Aleem Khan and the Chairman of Employees Old Age Benefits Institution had scammed PKR 34 billion.

The Minister claimed that in the name of Park View City, Aleem Khan has oversold the plots to a huge number of people and also converted the 13 and 15 marla land which was allocated for a graveyard to commercial plots and sold them.

The minister also said that Aleem Khan has also occupied the land of the school on Burki Road and added Shahpur Khanjran Road to his society as well.

He also highlighted that Aleem Khan grabbed some of the sold lands and constructed a mosque which is named after his late father.

In addition to this, Minister Aslam Iqbal has urged the Governor of the State Bank to take notice of the matter.

He also requested the Supreme Court to hear and decide the case of EOBI so that the victims of these scams could get their stolen money back.

In response to this, Park View City’s Chief Executive Shoaib Siddiqui denied all the allegations and said that all the development work of the commercial area, mosque graveyard, and school has been finished as per the legal layout plan.

He added that all the claims made by Aslam Iqbal are baseless and the supreme court has revived the legal status of the society by restoring the NOC while the High Court has also stopped the authorities from taking action against the society.

Shoaib Siddiqui also brought an FIR in front of the media and asked the Minister to clarify why several are registered against him under 302/324 and 148/149.
