We have seen before Ufone offering Call Block Service, through which the customers could block unwanted calls. Now Mobilink has stepped forward with a facility to block SPAM text messages on your prepaid and postpaid Mobilink Numbers.
Mobilink’s website has no information regarding this service, despite a Print Advertisment in today’s papers. Adverts reads a healthy note describing the goods and bads of SMS text messages, and then says at the end… “If you want to avail SMS Spam Filter, then call 111”
Good for those customers who are on the list of advertisers and those who get frequent text messages from unwanted numbers. No words yet regarding the pricing or the total number of allowed blocked numbers.
But just a question, what happened to Do Not Call Registry, i remember it was proposed by PTA somewhere in previous 2/3 months…!

A good service if not properly implemented will become a social menace.
PTA as a regulatory body per its charter is required to undersatnd the life-cycle of all such new Value Added sefices, a normal process is to float a consultation paper, hear from industry experts, seek opinion from coustomers, and than issue the finding;
Pakistan Teleco market is a muture market and is refered to as a benchmark in international forum. PTA needs to own up it’s rightful position in the league of Tele- Community.

I need some information about bulk sms sending issue. I have a little mobile numbers sale business. I send every day the available numbers list to many mobile shop keepers. the lists are in a long sms. Today i tried to send lists to mobile shop keepers. The sms were sent but not delivered to mobile shop keepers . Its very difficult for us to daily deliver available numbers paper lists to shops . after this restriction many of other like us have become jobless. I only request you kindly guide me how many sms sending is spam ?
or there is sms speed sending is spam or quantity of sms sending is spam ?
