Reportedly, Mobile Phone Communication of Lawyers, PML (N) leaders and activists is largely intercepted by law enforcement agencies in order to carry forward their arrests.
It may be recalled that – for preparation of the Long March, section 144 was imposed in Punjab on Tuesday for indefinite time, effective from Wednesday – soon after police started its effort for arresting lawyers and political leadership under MPO.
Geo TV has been reporting that Police is heavily relying on mobile phone conversations between lawyer and political leaders to trace their locations. By the way, we know that mobile phone communication of every single user can be accessed by law enforcement agencies and Home Ministry.
On other hands, political figures are apparently using secondary SIMs (most likely, un-registered SIMs) for their communication while they remain underground.
don’t you think unregistered sims can be traced as well? After all i think to make those arrests they are not just relying on the addresses of those numbers but also on the information of cellphone towers being used?
well i want to know one thing
Do Operators record the calls or have the call logs against any registered SIM….?
