North Waziristan coming on Telecom Radar Soon
As the rest of the world is shifting grears for 4G communication, we here got areas which are not connected to our own mainland.
But now a cellular company has been given a go-ahead to erect three transmission towers to provide mobile phone service to the whole of the North Waziristan Agency. Sources said the towers would be installed inside the government installations for protection from saboteurs.
The three towers would be installed in Miramshah, Mirali and Boya areas that would connect the agency with the rest of the country. Sources said work would start this month. Presently, there is no cellular phone service in the agency.
