  • 1- 95% oversease Pakistanis call Pakistan using VoIP providers due to highest termination charges set by PTA and they don’t use their GSM/PSTN to call Pakistan.

2- These VoIP providers use grey routes so Pakistan government gets nothing.

3- India has promoted local VoIP providers, these providers provide calls to India at 0.1 cent a minute. This money goes in pockets of Indian government. Money doesn’t go in pockets of those overseas VoIP providers, and money of overseas Indians is saved, they remain in contact with loved ones back home.

PTA is actually causing damage to economy while it is claiming it is saving it…a big joke.

  • PTA sab say bara chor hai Itnay High Rates jab ho gain tou log phir VOIP he ko prefer karay gain na.
    Shame on PTA
    And Pakistan Govt.

  • I visited China a couple of years back and there VOiP boxes with a capacity to house 8 GSM Sims were being sold at $5000 a piece. Quite affordable business I guess

  • DHL LAHORE and LAHORE AIRPORT CUSTOM are INVOLVE To IMPORT and CLEARANCE of GOIP (VOIP) DEVICES in HUGE QUANTITY FIA have to notice this ISSUE.
