PM Agrees to Withdraw SMS Tax: Farooq Sattar

Here is this positive news from capital that Prime Minister has agreed to withdraw 20 paisas tax on each SMS, reported various newspapers today, citing Farooq Sattar of MQM, who met Mr. Yousaf Raza Gillani at PM House Islamabad.

During a meeting with an MQM delegation led by Overseas Pakistanis’ Minister Farooq Sattar, the prime minister is said to have agreed to a 20-percent raise in pensions and the withdrawal of a 20-paisa tax on the short messaging service (SMS), sources said.
