Long anticipated Huawei smartphones, at last, surfaced in Pakistan through two tailing events in Lahore and Karachi.
Huawei in collaboration with Airlink Communication (a distributor apparently) said that they will make five Huawei Smartphones available in the open market in Pakistan.
Huawei is going to focus more on its flag Ship model Ascend P1 to rival top of the line competition smartphones. Otherwise it is going to offer four other models with mid-to mid-high range prices.
“The availability of the Ascend P1, which combines smart features and design, represents a significant milestone for Huawei Device. We are sending strong signals of our intention to transform into a consumer-facing brand and extend our market leadership by strengthening our range of flagship products. We are also expanding our sales and distribution channels to move beyond a focus on operators,” said Geng Simeng, CEO of Huawei Pakistan.

Nice step from the company and the prices are cheap and OK.
Here in UAE Samsung mobiles are cheaper than unknown Huawei brand even after you do currency conversion.
Where are the outlets ? Further information would be nice.
As mentioned in post above, handsets will be available in the open market. Outlet information is very limited for now. Contact details on the official website of their distributor is either incorrect or they are too lazy to take calls/ respond emails.
Better buy galaxy s2 rather buying the first one.
Huawei Y200 no WIFI oooops!
802.11b / 802.11g / 802.11n < These are WiFi standards!
@Azi .. as Ali stated 802.11 = Wifi and the standards are b/g/n and it supports all
I think Y200 will be flop since it support only 256MB RAM where as its rivals at approx the same price tag has 512MB RAM
The Last one is good in price, one can have it.
@Fakhre Alam: agreed…
y 200 se acha to htc explorer
price feature and battry is good
and brande is also very popular

i love htc explorer
the first one is clear rival of s2 and there is no question about it which one is the better. the last two seems like the most affordable android handset in terms of features/performance. good going huawei.
huawei is already selling its models from the platform of zong. like ideaos etc.
@asif
Haan andaaza hogaya hai kay tum HTC kay fan ho….
I got Huawei 8800Pro, it is just fabolous…… outstanding smart fone……. haven’t checked the above ones but looking okay price wise and specs…
a galaxy s2 or nexus costs less than 40k. come on, these prices are not even competetive
Devices are looking good but, chinese brand and low resale value :(
i will not trust on these devices
Thanks a lot Huawei, i am waiting this very long, thanks again
I think they did not do any market survey before fixing their prices.
overpriced phones i think. The international brands like HTC and Samsungs offers better in this price range.
great moblies
prices are really good i think we will not get better phone then vision in this price :) at the moment i have this phone outstanding phone don’t consider them a chines brand like other they are the number 2 teleco brand last year in the world you can google and get the information HUAWEI well come in pakistan CHANGE ON hai like imran khan :) TABDEELI aa nahi rahi tabdeeli aa gai hai
Maybe Huawei manufacture good mobile fones but why anyone will purchase it when we have better options to go with htc and samsung because they have resale value than.
Its a proven market strategy that if they want to sale their mobiles then they must cut down rates so poeple go for them instead popular brands and when people buy these fones then they like them and the market will build for huawei.
Sorry to say but the prices are a bit on higher side as in the same price we can have multiple known models from LG and samsung which are far superior than this brand which should be cheaper
Let’s see how market treat it
I am using Huawei u8800, great smartphone with excellent price. i bought it from Dubai. I am using Huawei since jan 2012, i am happy with it. still no problem with mobile or battery. u8860 and G300 are nice for paki market.
i dont understand what is the use of these phone with dead slow GPRS
Dear bro Zain,
Who told you to use GPRS on it, they are equiped with WIFI, benefit of GPRS is once when you are in travelling or at remote area, otherwise you can use wifi for superb net surfing Facebook youtube etc.
