Telenor Launches Discounted Blackberry Packages

Following Ufone, Telenor Pakistan has introduced low-price tariff plans for Blackberry users in Pakistan.

With limited functionality, Blackberry Social and Blackberry Complete by Telenor offers BIS services and unlimited internet (with fair usage policy in place) for Rs. 350 and Rs. 650 per month respectively.

These new packages are available for Telenor Postpaid customers only. With limited features, new discounted blackberry plans are seemingly aimed at non-corporate and young customers who would want email functionality on the go with Blackberry class. These plans will also help revive the Blackberry that is undergoing tough conditions at a time when iOS and Android Devices are rocking the youth.

No Activation Fee
Monthly Charges: Rs. 650
1 BlackBerry email address + 1 third party email accounts (eg: @YourDomain.com, @super.net.pk, etc.)
Unlimited internet browsing (Fair usage policy of 2GB data is applicable on BB Complete.)
Instant messaging: BB Messenger, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, etc.
An additional deposit of Rs. 1,000 is required for activation of BlackBerry Complete.
Social Networking: Facebook, Twitter, etc.

BlackBerry Social

No Activation Fee
Monthly Charges: Rs. 350

Unlimited internet browsing (Fair usage policy of 1GB data is applicable on BB Social)

Unlimited Free GPRS (NO fair usage)
Additional Security Deposit for BlS Rs. 2,500 is required for activation of BIS service.
