Exactly like we told you, Mobilink has now launched its mobile financial services which they are calling: Mobicash, a brand name that has been used in various countries for mobile financial and similar services (more details at the bottom).
Website for Mobicash is up and running now, which has all the details about mobile financial services that MobiCash is offering.
Currently, Person to Person money transfer service and bill payments are available. Anyone with original CNIC (and a photo copy), of any network, can use money transfer services.
Both services can be availed from any Mobilink franchise, customer care centre or Mobicash Retailer.
For money transfer, service charges are almost similar or marginally lower than Easypaisa for higher transactions, but customers might not be contented with MobiCash rates. Here is the comparison of service charges for both MobiCash and Easypaisa services:

Mobilink, being the largest operator of the country, has sufficient reach through franchise network. However, the retailer network for MobiCash is still being established. We are told that company is aggressively working on it to stretch the services to wider range of audience.
Interestingly, the brand name of MobiCash isn’t unique to Mobilink only. There are few products available already in different parts of world with same name, that is: MobiCash.
For example, Warid Congo launched MobiCash, a mobile financial solution earlier this year; similarly GarmeenPhone has MobiCash for ticketing services through mobile phones. There is another MobiCash service available in South Africa, tailored for merchants and retailers.
In a related news, we are told that Zong is holding a press conference tomorrow in Karachi for the launch of its Mobile Financial Services. We will have to see what Zong has to offer, since they are best known for beating prices.

Its good to know… But the thing is that there is not much difference in rates of Mobilink and Easypaisa.. only 8000 the difference starts which is minor too… Well, Telenor service of being the account holder option is too low. As, if i have an account of Telenor Money transfer then if i send or receive the transaction charges are lower then shared above and if i have my sim with Telenor money transfer account activated and i send it to another person with activated account on his/her sim then the charges lowers down… So, what i think is that Mobilink has to work on it and have to offer something more valuable in rates as well as something new and different…
Nothing new , same rates… just another player in market, soon it will be same as the telco industry is .. Rehman Baba suddenly ban all mobile banking transactions and hundreds will go jobless…

Payment Gateway cannot be established by the private sector on its own. It requires the engagement and approval of the government, Central bank and commercial banks.
