Yes even i guess so. First they say, in september, then they come up with the statement of mid of October and now no news re 4G LTE, crap.
Now they are telling that 4G LTE is launching in November….such a crap! I am seriously thinking of porting out to Mobilink or Zong after 8 years with Warid as a postpaid customer. Warid is just giving Lolipop to it’s customers. Warid is seriously having a trouble with it’s management. One can easily understand why Warid was for sale one year ago.
They are saying that 4GLTE will launch end of October ! Have patience… I am also fed up getting new dates so I am using ZONG as a primary number and Warid as Secondary! I am really happy with ZONG 3G and 4G speed ;)
It is due to the fact that shipments of network equipments is late, so delays occurred in rollout, however many cell sites in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad is ready for LTE
Why dnt they release sum offical statement…people r porting to zong….and we postpaid users are feeling ourself in a cage like a fool …..
Network equipments were not coming from Mars! I am Chartered Accountancy student. I’ve studied business strategies. They are not based upon lies! Atleast Warid should state solid reasons that why delay is caused or if 4G LTE was supposed to launch late then Warid should not tell lies to it’s customers. I got 4-5 deadlines since May. Which one to rely? I receive LTE signals in Lahore, as #ProPakistani shared my screenshot in their earlier post, but what Warid is doing with it’s customers is pathetic. I guess their LTE will also be the same as what me as a customer getting annoyed. Warid can launch LTE on behalf of AbuDhabi Group (whatever politics behind) but they can’t retain customers on behalf of AbuDhabi Group! One can sustain in market on what you deliver, see Zong. Anyhow I don’t feel any regret on porting out & never will. Just waiting for the right time.
At least, service should be officially started in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad where cell sites/BTSs are ready.Warid can capture 2 million 4G customers from these three cities easily.
140+ sites are ready in Lahore which can cover 40% of the city.
These number of sites are enough for launching of 4G LTE.Warid can capture easily 2 to 3 lac customers from these sites.Just see how Mobilink has competed with Zong by reducing rates by offering 7GB data volume at Rs 60(Means 30 GB at Rs 250 per month)and now their 3G users have crossed 1 million figure.Further Delay is not fruitful for Warid.
I mentioned on propakistani that they will start public trials in November. But, I do agree that they should come up with official statements rather than keeping people speculating. This hurts their image in the minds of consumers.

Money is the issue…. did any one notice what Abu Dhabi Group is doing???? anyone noticed slicing up Wateen Ltd. and making a new company Wateen Wimax Pvt. (Ltd.) … something seriously is wrong there…offering 4months free on 6 month payment.. not are they just collecting money to launch this 4G LTE?? looting Pakistanis?
