Apple Fever: Ufone Registers Record iPhone 6 Pre-Orders in First 12 Hours

iPhone fan-boys are on fire. Yesterday, we reported that Ufone is all ready to launch the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in Pakistan. The smartphones are expected to be available from 11th December, 2014 but Ufone already started the pre-order process yesterday.

In the first 12 hours of the announcement, Ufone received a staggering 2,000 plus pre-orders. That is one order every 20 seconds. Considering that the iPhones are high-end premium smartphones which are expected to cost over 80,000 PKR, this is an impressive feat to say the least.

Apple product launches are always a big deal but this time, carriers like Ufone are reportedly going to offer accidental warranty coverage and replacement plans which might have convinced even more people to sign up.
