Following on from the introduction of Samsung Galaxy Alpha, its first full metal body smartphone, the technology giant has announced the launch of the Galaxy A5 and A3, further models that embrace the all-metal look.
Both phones come equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, with 2 GB RAM in the A5 and 1 GB in the A3. Included in the A5 is a microSD card slot that allow extendable memory up to 64GB.
Farid Ullah Jan, head of Samsung Mobile for Pakistan and Afghanistan said,
“Galaxy A5 and A3 are such smartphones that are the first ever full metal body phones launched by Samsung. Our company has delivered yet another two extraordinary Smartphones that promise to give smooth performance and unforgettable experience to the users.”
The A5 has a 5 inch display capable of 294 ppi, and the A3 has a 4.5 inch display capable of 245 ppi, which are average but not impressive results. Both models ship with Android KitKat, but planned upgrades to Lollipop have not yet been announced.

However, the camera options in both phones are certainly commendable. The A5 ships with a 13 megapixel variant, with an 8 megapixel one in the A3. Furthermore both models are dual-sim variants, which is a positive factor for the local market.
